The Happy Place

So life is nuts right now. We all know this. Nothing is "normal", it's all upside down ... and we are floating in this mysterious time warp without a real sense of when our lives can get back to what they were. What.are.we.to.do.

Friends, I think you need to find your HAPPY PLACE.

My Happy Place is ... coasters. It's weird, I know - but LEGIT, "coasters" is one of my favorite places to "be". This use of the verb "to be" is loosely defined as 'standing at kitchen island surrounded by tiles, cardboard, and kids' or 'sitting on the back porch cutting 4x4 squares of paper' ...

The truth is, any time I get to create something from nothing ... and especially repurpose something into something ELSE, I am so stinkin' HAPPY.

So I've been spending a lot of time in my Happy Place. I've been organizing inventory, posting on social, creating new inventory, getting excited about possibilities of partnerships ... all of it.

I make coasters because it makes me happy. I also make coasters because they make other people happy. Friends, this is what we call a "win-win situation".
